Capital One Bank’s Financial Literacy Challenge is a community program that encourages the spread of financial education throughout Long Island communities. Participants (schools, clubs, nonprofits, community groups, and branches of city, state, and local government) can submit their application by 06.14.2013 for a chance to be a part of the 2013-2014 program. Capital One will award 15-20 $5,000 grants that will be designated to financial education programs. Two additional $15,000 grants will go to the winners of the Financial Literacy Challenge.
